Senior Planner

The Senior Planner performs a variety of professional planning, analytical, and project or team leadership tasks related to the implementation of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan and administration of the Land Management Ordinance.

Essential Duties:

Comprehensive Planning and Analysis - Drives Town Council goals and the Town Manager's Work Program; leads research and updates for the Comprehensive Plan; handles LMO amendments and zoning activities.

Project and Infrastructure Development - Oversees project budgets and infrastructure development; leads special projects with research, site inspections, and interdepartmental coordination.

Public Engagement and Service - Manages application processes and compliance; serves as a liaison with Boards and Commissions; provides guidance on development regulations and planning inquiries to stakeholders and the public.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field; and
• Five (5) years of experience in planning, architecture, landscape architecture, or related.
• Valid Driver's License.

This is an exempt position (not eligible for overtime) with a salary range of $70,516 - $96,089.
